Herbs for supporting the equine nervous system, boosting energy during heavy competition, stressful events or travel. This formula focuses on using nervous energy from worry, race stress, unnatural environment or living conditions, into healthy energy for use during competition. Designed originally for a gelding who washes out before each race, having the talent to run fast, but worries too much. Proven for 17 years on competitive horses especially stallions and geldings, (though works for some mares) to be effective in getting the horse to the winners circle or run, race or perform at full potential. Avoiding many of the side effects associated with calming drugs, poor performance, down grade in health and well being when taking Poise.
Many of the herbs in this blend are anti aging, anti cancer, anti oxidant and prevent free radical damage, which can result from the heavy exertions by the competitive horse.
Poise Ingredients: Dong Quai, Catnip, Dillweed, Eleuthero, Dandelion Root, Hyssop, Astragalus, Chamomile, Schizandra Berries, Wild Yam
Poise Suggested Use: 3 TBS twice a day for 30-90 days, then three TBS per day 6 days a week. Use more or less depending on the stress level of your horse. Definitely pre race at full loading dose, 2 days before stressful event, racing, trailering, shoeing, trimming for best results.
